SHOT OUT OF A CANNON

Magenta skateboards comes through again with another amazing edit. They always have sick ideas for their montages, as far as songs, filming, titles, and so on. Peep this Battle at Normandy edit they just released on their site and make sure you rewind that Jimmy Lannon line.

PAPERSTACKS

OG Crewman, Pj Castellano is one of my favorite dudes to watch on a skateboard, hands down. He's got ill steez and the best switch flips in the game. It's rare to see footage of him on the web even though he's got plenty of it hidden away some place. So as soon as I saw he released this last one, "Depth of Wheel", of him cruizin' around I had to put it up; along with this gangster ass edit filmed and edited by Stephen Buggica himself.

SKETCHY SCUZZES!

Once again, Colin [Read] blows everybody away with another insane New York Clip for SLAP Magazine! WOW! I'm currently at a loss of words as I was for the last one (Subway Skating) which I didn't think could get any better than that, so in Colin's own words; "Skitches, hood rides, bumper grinds, tight squeezes and close calls--this is New York City skateboarding."... HELL I'D SAY THAT'S MORE LIKE SOME SERIOUS ASS CRUIZIN'! MANDIBLE CLAW SUCKAZ!

DON'T OCCUPY SKATE SPOTS

...Looks like Philly is more occupied by bums then I thought was allowed. Why doesn't the government just shut them down and kick them out of there? Out of all cities for that fact...If you're a skateboarder then you know by now that these occupy groups are making it extra hard for us to go skate in the downtown cities then it already was. Meanwhile in Philly all these protesters have made Love Park nearly impossible to skate. This video shows a group of skateboarders fighting back for their skate spots and making a good damn edit while they were at it. Enjoy

EVEN FURTHER NORTH

If you haven't seen or heard of him by now, then let this be the first of many times to come. Although, unfortunately, not a Crewman he rips too hard for recognition to be ignored; he'll cruise your face off! The Swede, Pontus Alv destroys everything along with all the other Swedes at that insane looking DIY spot. Yeah sure he puts wood and make shift little ramps up to rails, but we think he makes it work. Who gives a shit about what is or isn't excepted in a part; maybe you do, but we think it's rad!

Oh yeah, Cruizees jackets will be done by next week!

KEEP IT CRUIZIN' KEEP IT CRUIZIN'

Staying on the New York and East Coast tip we bring you a very well done NYC montage brought to you by our new favorite board company, Magenta. Magenta has been killing it this year making big moves such as turning Jimmy Lannon pro, and constantly putting out amazing montages of their travels. This is their most recent Capsule and one of the best. You also might recognize some familiar faces in here that you might have seen in recent posts.

EAST COAST FLAVA

Since Cruizees was born on the East coast, and most of our ideal skating is based around the East coast, we thought it would be a good idea to post up one of our favorite skateboarders that has always been a stand out to the East coast skate scene, Mr. Danny Renaud. If you haven't been living under a rock your whole life then you know Danny is one of the best skateboarders of all time. Here is Danny's most notorious part, that really put him on the map.

WHILE ON THE NEW YORK TIP...

..To follow the last post, it would only be necessary if Colin Read's Newest New York Clip was posted, which demonstrates exactly what Cruizin' means to us. Featuring one of my favorite skateboarders and good friend, Piro Sierra. Soon enough Piro will be reppin' Cruizees gear as part of our New York family, even though he doesn't know yet.

NEW YORK TRIP

FASTER! FASTER!!

Hello Brooklyn

Bagels, Bros &  Bunion Fingers

Yeah Colin!

NECKFACE SIGHTING!

First spot. If Fogt can't break his own board, something else will

Fogt, you're a cool ass dude

I got pissed off and threw my board as hard as I could at Colin.

...But instead I hit his camera

He sent in his boys to try to take me out.

Dogs eating up the spot

I close my eyes when I skate

Cruizin...

...for a serious bruizin' to end the trip early

Goodbye nice home. I'll miss you!

Back to Gainesville...

Thanks Colin and Jacob for the hospitality, it was fun as quick as it lasted!

STEVE IS IN NEW YORK...

So I am posting a video update of another Steve in New York, Steve Brandi. Steve is a very underrated skater from Tampa, FL that moved to NY, whenever he did. I am glad to see that Jahmal Williams recognizes his finesse and style on a skateboard, and immediately introduced him as the newest addition to the Hopps family. I hope with this we will be seeing a lot more from Steve in the near future. Commercial Shot and Edited by Josh Stewart.

I hope that soon, Cruizees, will have some product floating around the skate scene up in New York.

THE SHAQUEEFA MIXTAPE 2011

The Shaqueefa homies have been killing it for years, now pretty much under the radar. So they got together and put out a short video featuring all the homies from Tampa and a few from Columbus GA; you might even recognize some heads from Mandible Claw's videos. This video brings a little light to Tampa since there hasn't been anything like it in over 5 years. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and while your at it put a fresh beer in your Cruizees Koozie, sit back and enjoy. Filmed and Edited by Stephen Buggica and Joe Pelham.

CRUIZEES CREWMEN

Nick Zizzo, Dave Bachinsky, and James Coleman are some of the most humbled/gnarliest skaters we know of. All three support Cruizees hard as fuck, and for that they are loved cruizees crewmen. Cheers to Nick, Dave, and James!

Nick Zizzo: Bearly

Dave Bachinsky: Shape Deuce

James Coleman: The Lost Tape
